- If in the unlikely event your CD/DVD is faulty, you must make contact within 30 days of receiving your disk before your footage is deleted from the computer. We will offer an exchange of your disk free of charge.
- If your tape has any copyrighted material it will not be transferred but will still be charged.
- If your tape is too chewed up to be played and can not be transferred you will still be charged.
- We do not offer any refunds, only an exchange.

1 – Sending & Return of Your Source Media
Mighty Media Productions and its trading styles are not liable for any damage or loss of your media during transit to us or from us. By any carrier designated by us or you the customer. You are advised to use a tracked delivery service, requiring “signature on delivery”, when sending your source media to us. We offer the use of our Royal Mail tracked returns service so you can post to us at our expense. We use a range of signed for and tracked services to return your video/cine films and DVDs. Most mainland UK customers will have their orders returned with DPD who will provide details of a one hour delivery slot and delivery alternatives that you as the customer can opt for.
2 – Safety of Your Source Material
We always take exceptional care with your tapes. In the unlikely event of us causing damage to or loss of any of your material, we will compensate you up to the purchase value of the original media. Please Note: This does not apply to tapes that have arrived in a damaged or unusable state or tapes that are damaged during playback due to defects or general age.
We keep your footage on our computers for 30 days after you receive your order and it is deleted thereafter. This is to comply with our 30 day guarantee. Whilst we take every care to maintain these digital backups we cannot be responsible for technical failures of our storage equipment.
3 – DVD and Media Player Compatibility & Guarantees
The DVD disks that we produce are high quality industry standard DVD-R disks. Digital files are MP4. As we are a UK business, we use PAL encoding so that the disks will play on UK players. It is the customers responsibility to ensure compatibility of their play back equipment and software.
4 – In Case Of Problems With Your DVD Disk or USB stick.
If in the unlikely event your CD/DVD is faulty, you must make contact within 30 days of receiving your disk before your footage is deleted from the computer. We will offer an exchange of your disk free of charge. . We cannot however be held responsible for damaged / mishandled disks or incompatible players. It is the customer’s responsibility to protect the supplied DVDs from scratches or other damages. We are also not responsible for any USB stick faults as it is your responsibility to back up your data.
5 – Your Responsibility
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT and it is your responsibility to ensure, that the source media supplied SHALL NOT contain material classed as ‘Prohibited Content’ and must comply with current laws of shipping audio/visual material. Prohibited Content: Generally, Prohibited Content includes (without limitation) any of the following types of Content:
a. Content we believe is abusive, deceptive, pornographic, obscene, defamatory, slanderous, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.
b. Copyrighted material that is used without the express permission of the owner.
c. Content that violates or encroaches on the rights of others.
d. Content or other material that contains viruses, worms, corrupt files, Trojan horses and other forms of corruptive code or any other content, which may compromise our service.
e. Content that advocates illegal activity.
f. Content that harms minors in any way.
Mighty Media Productions / VHS to DVD Wales reserves the right to pass any infringements of this Prohibited Content that we may receive to the relevant authorities if it is deemed necessary.
6 – Faulty video tapes
Faulty video tapes that are sent in will still be charged as we will have spent time trying to find footage and trying to fix the issue. It is the customers responsibility to check if they work before placing the order.
7 – Disclaimers
Mighty Media Productions / VHS to DVD Wales will not be liable for any economic losses (including, without limitation, loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings), any loss of goodwill or reputation, or any special, indirect or consequential damages (however arising, including negligence) arising out of or in connection with this Agreement.
8 – Refunds
We do not offer any refunds, only an exchange.
